The 52nd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa is generating a lot of buzz for a variety of reasons. Hrithik Roshan apparently gave a virtual course on acting and spoke candidly about his personal career. He talked about the steps he takes to give the character he’s portraying his own personality.
Hrithik Roshan stated,” The first step is to make a connection with the script’s character. Half of the task is done after you’ve established that the feelings that your character is experiencing are ones that you can relate to. From then, the entire path of seeking and searching begins. You’re always looking for that man (character) within yourself. The way he appears walks and acts is determined by how close you are to that character. And magic comes when you uncover the character’s edge.”
Hrithik Roshan also believes that perhaps the big transformation brought about through the internet is enormous and beneficial. “I’m ecstatic that so many fresh performers have joined the cast. The scale has widened, and the talent I’ve been witnessing on film is just amazing! It makes me pleased because I believe that all types of individuals in our social milieu should be beautifully depicted on TV.”
“With that, I feel that the mould of a superstar, which had been built, is shattering,” he continued. Actors have to conform to a predetermined image of a celebrity. And it was utterly detached from reality. I believe that this mould is growing into something greater. I believe it is now possible to customise it! Those who wish to make it now must thus put in a great deal of effort.
