For the first time in Ganapath, Kriti Sanon attempts action

Kriti Sanon would be undertaking some heavy-duty action scenes for Vikas Bahl’s Ganapath for the very first film in her profession. Kriti Sanon is also pissed about her badass avatar. “It’s my first real action movie.” That was something I had to plan for. I’ve never done anything like this before. “I may appear to be athletic, but I am not.”

Kriti Sanon feels fortunate to have the opportunity to gain new talents while preparing for a role. “It’s just so nice that we actors get to learn on the job and get paid for it. I am enjoying the prep process. I get to do stunts, ride a bike, do a chase. I am thrilled about it.”

In Ganapath, Kriti Sanon reunites alongside her hero from her debut flick. “I am working with Tiger Shroff after seven years. He was my first leading man. We’ve both grown as actors and human beings. It’s like old times, but different.”

The film is currently being shot in the United Kingdom.

It’s 2014 all over again for Kriti Sanon. Only now, she, as well as her co-star, are no longer two wide-eyed debutants, but two famous Bollywood stars. The actor says she’s counting down the days till the start of filming for Ganapath, which will bring her back together with Heropanti co-star Tiger Shroff.

“It’s taken much too long to work with my first co-star,” Sanon says, smiling as he prepares for the movie. After all, this would be her first action film, directed by Vikas Bahl. “We’ll start filming in July.”

I’m a little apprehensive about taking action against Tiger because he’s so excellent at it. You must be [pitch perfect] while sharing a frame with him in such a movie; else, your [limitations] will be seen. I believe he will assist me in improving my stunts on set.” The project was revealed in February with a motion poster featuring Sanon as a femme fatale. “I’ll have to learn to ride a bike for the film,” she adds of her preparation. My character is constructed in such a way that she has a great deal of authority.”
