Fardeen Khan, who was last seen in Mudassar Aziz’s film ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’ 11 years ago, is all set to make his comeback with the upcoming film ‘Visfot’ co-starring Riteish Deshmukh. Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Visfot’ is the official Hindi version of the 2012 Venezuelan film, ‘Rock, Paper, Scissors’.
Fardeen and Riteish last shared the screen space together in ‘Heyy Babyy’ in 2007 and will be seen together in the upcoming film after 14 years.
Confirming the news, director Sanjay Gupta, said, “I am really happy that Fardeen and Riteish are teaming up for this extremely special project. My team and I put in every bit of our blood, sweat, and tears to make each of our projects count. This film has been in the works for a while and I’m proud to say that ‘Visfot’ will roll by the end of the month. We’re geared up for this.”
According to the reports, the thriller will be shot in Mumbai in the upcoming months, thrives on the collision between the city’s stark contrasts – the chawls of Dongri and the high rises. The film is expected to release in 2022.
Actor Rohit Roy also took to his official Instagram handle and congratulated Fardeen for his comeback and revealed that he will also be a part of the film. Sharing a picture of himself and Khan, he captioned the post, “Guess who came to a visiting! Can’t wait to start work with this gem of a guy! We worked together as actors in my friend @suparnverma ‘s directorial debut #ekkhiladiekhaseena and now can’t wait to direct Fardeen in a film I’m working on! Deets out soon!.”
