It was a private ceremony in Khandala for the much-loved couple, attended by their relatives and close friends. Surprisingly, the news of Farhan and Shibani’s wedding has been one of the most talked-about stories in town since it broke. While fans have been waiting for some inside information, Farah Khan, who was one of the guests, has shared a lovely photo from Farhan and Shibani’s D-Day celebrations.
Farah uploaded a photo with Zoya Akhtar on her Instagram account, expressing their joy for their ‘brother’s’ wedding. Farah looked lovely in her emerald green gown and elegant jewellery in the photo. Zoya, on the other hand, wore mustard and white ensemble to Farhan and Shibani’s wedding and was accessorised with a choker neckpiece. As they stood for the camera, the delighted sisters were beaming from ear to ear. “Aaj hamare bhai @faroutakhtar ki shaadi hain @zoieakhtar #sisterselfie #khandala,” Farhan captioned the photo.
With the exception of Farah Khan, other celebrities that attended Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s wedding were Hrithik Roshan, Ashutosh Gowariker, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Rhea Chakraborty, and others. Following their nuptial vows, Farhan and Shibani danced to the song Sooraj Ki Baahon Mein and then also grooved towards the tune Dil Chahta Hai, according to reports.
