Soniya Mehra began her acting career in ‘Victoria No. 203,’ and she most recently appeared in ‘Ragini MMS 2.’

Soniya has left the entertainment industry and relocated to Dubai, over seven years after her final film appearance, Ragini MMS 2. Yes, she is now a yoga teacher, and she is extremely popular. Now, while in an interview with Friday magazine, Soniya has spoken at detail regarding her choice to take a backseat to an actress. Continue reading to know more-

Inside the interview, Soniya Mehra remarked, “Most individuals who want to work in the film industry are dreamers and artists with lofty goals. I had the same aspirations and attempted my hand at it as well. I’m delighted to have had the opportunity to work in the business and am pleased to be have landed a few assignments.”

When questioned about her major lesson as a Bollywood actor, Soniya said, “[I think it’s important] to always give your best in everything you do. Even if you don’t succeed at least you tried.”

When asked about becoming a yoga instructor, Soniya stated, “It was my maternal aunt and my mother who got me interested in yoga, something that has remained with me all my life. It is more of a lifestyle now; it is something I am rather than something I ‘do’. I learn more about it every day.”

Soniya has appeared in several films, including Victoria No. 203 (2007), Shadow (2009), Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu (2012), and Ragini MMS 2. (2014). In 2016, she relocated to Dubai.

Mehra studied at The Mombasa Academy in Mombasa, Kenya, and then in London. She made her screen debut just at age of eight at school, wherein she received a Gold Medal with Honors at The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art Acting Examinations. She also attended The Arts Educational Schools of London for a brief period of time. She came to Mumbai at the age of 18 and enrolled in Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares – The School of Actors for a three-month training. Mehra is indeed a trained dancer, having just started ballet at the age of five and going on to compete in a variety of styles including such street jazz.
