Deewaanapan is a 2001 Hindi romance film from India that was released on November 16, 2001. It is helmed by Ashu Trikha and features Arjun Rampal and Dia Mirza. Support parts are played by Om Puri as well as Vinod Khanna.
Suraj Saxena (Arjun Rampal) currently lives (Om Puri), mother (Smita Jaykar), and sister, Asha, inside a lonely hill area in India (Amita Nangia). A day, he encounters Kiran Choudhary (Dia Mirza), who have travelled with such a group of girls on a holiday excursion. He agrees to take her on a tour of the city, but the couple falls in love. Suraj is unable to see her by train since his father is suffering from chest problems and must be brought to the hospital. Suraj enrols in college and meets numerous new acquaintances, as well as becoming a renowned basketball player when his sister marries.
