In an interview with Hindustan Times, the ‘Simmba’ actor revealed that he and Deepika’s family like playing badminton together.

Ranveer Singh praised his father-in-sportsmanship, law’s saying that “he has still got it” at the age of 66. He added, “Prakash Padukone, my father-in-law, he’s still got it. Whenever he picks up a badminton racquet, he puts on a show. He’ll stand in one place and make you run the entire court. Then sometimes, when he is in the mood, he will start doing these trick shots, which would blow your mind.  He is an absolute legend and the kind of wisdom about life and values that he shares with us as his kids is invaluable.”

Not only does Ranveer’s father-in-law compete, but his wife Deepika also loses against him at badminton. He also said that he has yet to defeat a national-level badminton player and his wife. According to reports, he said, “Deepika kicks my butt in badminton, let me tell you,” he added, saying that though he began dating in 2012, he has never beaten her ever.” It’s not for lack of trying. I am running around sweating. There was a time when she used to beat me under 5 or 10 points. Now I have gotten to 15-16. So, I am getting there but still unable to beat her.”

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Divyang Thakkar’s ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar.’ ‘Cirkus’ and ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,’ both starring Alia Bhatt, are among Ranveer’s other major projects.
