Bunty Aur Babli is indeed a 2005 Hindi-language criminal movie directed by Shaad Ali and written by Jaideep Sahni, centered on a script by Aditya Chopra and produced by Yash Raj Films. This movie stars Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji inside the lead parts, alongside Amitabh Bachchan in the supporting role. This is the first movie to feature the Bachchan father-son tandem. Bunty Aur Babli 2, a spiritual sequel featuring Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, and Siddhant Chaturvedi, is slated to be released in 2021.

The movie’s soundtrack was previously offered to A. R. Rahman, however he rejected owing to his hectic schedule. The album’s primary stars, Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji, danced to the music. Gulzar and Blaaze collaborated on the lyrics.

Bunty Aur Babli 2, directed by Varun V. Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra, was announced by Yash Raj Films in December 2019. The movie, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherji, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and debutante Sharvari Wagh, was scheduled for release on June 26, 2020, but has been postponed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film will now be released in theatres on November 19, 2021.
