Brahmastra assets will be revealed over the year leading up to the release

Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is among the most anticipated movies of the year. The movie will now be released in theatres on September 9, 2022, after multiple delays due to all the length of time it took to make the movie as well as the epidemic. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt star in the movie, which also has Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy alongside Nagarjuna, as well as Shah Rukh Khan in cameo roles. Dharma Productions is co-producing the picture, and the filmmakers have devised a comprehensive marketing campaign to promote the magnum opus.

The film’s producers held a big event in December to reveal the logo, release date, and first glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva. Ayan, Ranbir, and Alia attended the ceremony, and the first asset received a huge reception. Apoorva Mehta, CEO of Dharma Productions, recently spoke with Bollywood Hungama about the film’s distribution plan. “We are very confident of the film. We spent a lot of time making it. I think Fox and Disney are very strongly involved with us at every level. I mean, they are driving this film. There are big plans about how we want to release this film.”

“We are really excited because we did a really breathtaking and impactful launch of the logo and the release date. And now I think we have formed many interesting marketing ideas and plans, all of which will keep unfolding as we come,” he added.

While he did not reveal when the world will be able to witness yet another glimpse from the film, Mehta assured, “There’s a lot of stuff that is under production, and it is going to be coming continuously through the year as we near the release.”

Brahmāstra The Astraverse is India’s first original universe, and it begins with Part One of a three-part film trilogy. It’s a new original movie universe inspired by deeply entrenched themes and legends in Indian mythology but set in the present world, with the epic narratives of fantasy, adventure, good vs evil, love, and hope, all delivered with cutting-edge technology and never-before-seen visual spectacles.

Nagarjuna Akkineni, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Amitabh Bachchan star in the magnum opus, which is produced by Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures and will be released theatrically on September 9, 2022, in five Indian languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
