“BellBottom” was the first film to get a worldwide theatrical release after the second wave of COVID-19. The Akshay Kumar starrer film is directed by Ranjit Tiwari. The release of the film was limited to some states in India.
Meanwhile, the makers of Bellbottom have announced the digital release date of the film. Akshay Kumar took to his social media to announce this The film will be released on September 16 on Amazon Prime Video. This would be exactly a month after its theatrical release.
The action-packed movie is inspired by real-life hijacking events in the ’80s. Akshay Kumar has played the role of an undercover agent. He is on a mission to free 210 hostages held by hijackers.
Mr. Vijay Subrmaniam of Amazon Prime Video India said, “Our audiences enjoy action and thriller stories. And we are glad to have brought BellBottom to them.” The movie has been received well by Indian audiences. We intend to take this story to a worldwide audience.”
Additionally, Director Ranjit M Tewari said, “It is a story of many unsung heroes. I felt that it deserved to be told to one and all. It is the perfect mix of an exciting plot and great performances.”
