Amitabh Bachchan to recite a verse of title track for Chehre

Amitabh Bachchan will recite a few verses for the title track of his upcoming film “Chehre”. The verses have been written by the film’s director Rumy Jafry. The actor has earlier recited poems of Sahir Ludhiyanvi and Javed Akhtar.  The movies ‘Kabhi Kabhie’ and ‘Silsila’ are still remembered by Amitabh fans.

Speaking about the track, the film’s producer said, “Shekhar Ravjiani has composed the tune beautifully. And now Amit Ji will lend his matchless voice.  Indeed, this would add another dimension to the track.” Anand Pandit added, “Amitabh is a perfectionist. And I am looking forward to seeing how he delivers the poem. Because it is going to be a once-a-lifetime experience.”

The producer further highlighted “The film’s theme, its suspense and mysterious elements all come together wonderfully in the score and now Amit Ji will add his own magic to it.”
