Amitabh Bachchan, the Bollywood superstar, has a large social media following and is always updating his followers with new information. The actor is well-known for his cheeky, funny, and eccentric demeanour. This year, the nation is commemorating the 72nd Republic Day, and Big B turned to Instagram to send his best wishes to the internet. But it was the 79-year-old actor’s most bizarre shot, which featured his ‘tricolour’ beard, that drew the attention of his followers and went viral.
Amitabh Bachchan posted a monochrome shot of himself, with just his beard highlighted in the three national flag colours of saffron, white, and green. “Gantantra Diwas Ki Anek Ankek Shubhkamnaye” (Happy Republic Day) he commented underneath the photo, including some tricolour emojis. Navya Naveli Nanda, his granddaughter, as well as comedian and actor Kapil Sharma both, replied to his message. Big B’s admirers flocked to the shot as quickly as he shared it on social media.
Mr Bachchan had previously tweeted a photo in which he was seen sporting winter attire and looking really elegant. “… yep.. you’re darn right.. no fog inside the city… MUMBAI is in the brilliant.. simply brighten all of us to be devoid of the vacuum of this COVOID.. Ummm.. you know what I mean,” he said with the photo.
“The boss is out…age is only a number for him,” Ganguly couldn’t help but say upon seeing the photo. “Got to be going…idle for too long,” Big B answered, along with several laughing emojis.
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be in Ayan Mukerji’s movie Brahmastra. Alia Bhatt as well as Ranbir Kapoor play pivotal parts in the film. He’ll also be shown in Ajay Devgn’s film Runway 34, which he directed.
