Amitabh Bachchan sells his parents Delhi home for the price of 23 crore

Actor Amitabh Bachchan is said to have sold the Delhi home where his parents Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bacchan used to live. Sopaan is indeed the name of the home, which is registered in his mother Teji’s name. Amitabh reportedly sold his home in Gulmohar Park in South Delhi for a staggering Rs. 23 crores, according to sources.

According to accounts, Avni Bader, the CEO of the Nezone group of enterprises, who has known Amitabh Bachchan for over three decades, acquired the mansion. Avni also lives in the neighbourhood. The property is stated to be 418.05 square metres in size, and the transaction was completed on December 7 of last year.

Avni disclosed to the media that because the structure is ancient, they would dismantle it and rebuild it according to their needs. Amitabh and his parents finally relocated to Mumbai when Amitabh settled there.

Amitabh Bachchan now resides in Mumbai’s Juhu neighbourhood with his wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan. They share a residence in Jalsa, the family’s ancestral home. In Mumbai, he owns Janak, which he uses as his office, as well as the bungalows Prateeksha and Vatsa. He also has property in Dubai and his ancestral house in Allahabad.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in the film Jhund which is scheduled to hit the theatres on March 4.
