Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek have a special bond. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s son Abhishek Bachchan is a devoted son. Amitabh Bachchan is, on the other hand, a very proud parent who frequently brags about his son’s achievements on social media. Amitabh Bachchan has named his son Abhishek to be his ‘uttaradhikaari’ (heir), invoking his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s poetry. He’d sent a link to the trailer for Abhishek’s next movie Dasvi, along with the message, “Mere bete, bete hone se tum mere uttradhikari nahi hoge. Jo mere uttradhikari honge, wo mere bete honge (My son, you won’t become my heir by virtue of being my son. Those who will be my heir, will be my sons).
Amitabh recently posted a humorous photo of himself and Abhishek. It wasn’t a traditional image, but rather a fan’s caricature of the father-son combination. We could see Amitabh and Abhishek with amusing grins on their faces in the post. Abhishek’s lips was open wide, as if he was about to devour Amitabh’s face. The two were dressed in bright outfits. Amitabh Bachchan humorously wrote beside the post, “…. ready to devour !! and let me tell you , you already have ..”
Meanwhile, Tushar Jalota’s movie Dasvi, starring Abhishek Bachchan, was released digitally just a few days ago on April 7. The movie also features Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur, and it has received a lot of positive feedback from the audience.
