Ali Abbas Zafar, director of Tiger Zinda Hai, has launched his production

Ali Abbas Zafar, the director of Tiger Zinda Hai, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, and Bharat, has announced the formation of his production company AAZ films. The director announced the news on his social media account on Tuesday.

“It has been a magical journey of creating stories and by the grace of God – I thank everyone who has helped me to be where I am today. Lots of love. This journey will move forward with @aazfilms,” the 40-year-old director wrote.

Ali Abbas Zafar made his directorial debut with the romantic comedy Mere Brother Ki Dulhan in 2011. Katrina Kaif, Imran Khan, and Ali Zafar appeared in the film. He went on to write and direct films such as Gunday, Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and Bharat after that. With the Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday blockbuster Khaali Peeli, he made the transition to the producer, and now he has formally formed his production firm.

Zafar also made his digital debut with the series Tandav, starring Saif Ali Khan, which he created and directed. The series premiered in 2020 and is now available on Amazon Prime Video.

Zafar is now working on a project with Shahid Kapoor. He’ll also be directing Super Soldier, a film starring Katrina Kaif in an action-packed role.
