Rimmi Sen, an actress, has gotten herself into a lot of problems. A businessman allegedly defrauded Rimmi Sen of Rs 4.14 crores, according to a recent report in Indian Express. This entrepreneur allegedly grabbed Rimmi Sen’s money under the guise of investing in a brand new firm. He tricked her, though, and the actress had no choice but to file a police report.

According to the FIR, Rimmi Sen met the alleged accused businessman Raunak Vyas in a gym in 2019. The actress, who told police she runs a production company and has an office in Mumbai’s Khar neighbourhood, confessed that she finally became acquainted with the suspect.

Vyas introduced Rimmi Sen, whose true name is Shubhamitra Sen, to an investment proposal in a new firm he was beginning, she told the cops. He’s also said to have promised the actress that she’ll get a good return on her money. According to the article, he provided her with significant returns of at least 30 to 40% on her investment.

Rimmi Sen is said to have spent roughly 4.14 crores in Vyas’ business over the course of a year, from 2019 to 2020. When she later inquired about her invested funds, the accused began to ignore her calls. Rimmi Sen finally discovered that Vyas had deceived her and had not started a business. She was thus left with no choice but to go to the police station. The case’s first information report (FIR) was filed with the Khar Police on March 29.
