As we all know that filmmaker Karan Johar has a special place for launching star kids into the movie business. But, now as Karan Johar has been the biggest support for Directors, who don’t have any linage to fall back on. Johar is all set to back Boman Irani’s son Kayoze Irani, also featured in the movie Student of The Year. For the records, Kayoze also directed a short film in Netflix original series Ajeeb Daastaans, and now he is all set to direct a feature film, for which the heroine Janhvi Kapoor is locked too!

According to a source, “Janhvi Kapoor has been locked to play the main female lead. Janhvi and Dharma were supposed to do two films – Dostana 2 and Mr Lele, but both got stuck and were delayed. While Dostana 2 is undergoing a massive cast change after Dharma decided to replace Kartik Aaryan from the project, it was due to Kartik’s constant date clashes that Janhvi had to let go off Mr Lele as well. So, Karan decided to give Janhvi Kayoze’s film instead. It’s a solid, emotional rom-com.”
Another insider highlighted by the source that in the upcoming Kayoze’s film, there will be another Dharma Boy teaming up opposite Janhvi. “It could be especially any of Kayoze’s SOTY co-stars, either Varun Dhawan or Sidharth Malhotra.” However, things are yet to be confirmed officially.
Talking about on the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will be working in the remake of Mollywood survival thriller Helen, which had Anna Ben in the lead. The movie, which marked the debut of director Mathukutty Xavier, the film had Lal, Aju Varghese and Vineeth Sreenivasan in supporting roles. The movie will be remade in Hindi with Janhvi Kapoor playing the lead role.
