Actor Sidharth Shukla was not keen to work full-time in Bollywood

Yes! you heard that right. Popular actor Sidharth Shukla was not keen to establish a full-time career in the Bollywood industry. Read deeds below to find out more about it.

Although Sidharth Shukla made his Bollywood Debut appearance in 2014 with Karan Johar’s ‘Humpty Sharma Hi Dulhania’ alongside Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, he had become a household celebrity on television, much like Sushant Singh Rajput after Pavitra Rishta.

Despite the popularity of the film, Sidharth Shukla remained hesitant to pursue a career in Bollywood. Sidharth Shukla stated in an interview that, “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania was a great experience. I didn’t have the author-backed role. And yet I didn’t feel side-lined at all. Throughout the shooting and afterwards during promotion it was ‘Humpty’ Varun Dhawan, ‘Dulhaniya’ Alia Bhatt and the Dulhaniya’s fiancé played by me. Not for a second did I feel secondary. I’ve no regrets about at all about doing Humpty Sharma.”

He has, however, sworn out a Film career. “Now until I get something as appealing as Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania I am back giving all my time to television.”

Balancing Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya and Balika Vadhu, according to Sidharth Shukla, was difficult. “Earlier I had juggled between Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and Balika Vadhu. So doing two projects together was not new to me. Being at two different shootings at the same time was something I kind of knew how to do. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania was something I had to do. I had to stretch myself as an actor.”

The actor’s Sudden demise has left a void in every Indian fan’s heart, we express deepest condolences to Sidharth Shukla’s family, friends and fans.
