Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha has been the talk of the town for a long time now. After Vijay Sethupathi walked out of the film, the makers got Telugu star Naga Chaitanya to portray his character. The team is currently shooting for the film in Srinagar and few photos of Aamir Khan and Chaitanya have surfaced all over the internet.
Naga Chaitanya can be seen posing with Aamir Khan in the latest photos as they enjoy surreal locations in Srinagar amidst the shoot. The director of the film Advait Chandan and co-producer Kiran Rao can also be seen in the photograph. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao’s son Azad also accompanied them for the shoot.
Laal Singh Chaddha is an official Hindi remake of the 1994 classic Forest Gump. The original film featured Tom Hanks in the lead role. While Aamir will be seen essaying the titular role, Kareena Kapoor Khan will essay female lead in the film.
Recently, while interacting with media, Aamir Khan recalled his shoot days with Naga Chaitanya. “We used to take an hour to reach the shoot location by car. Our south star Chay (Naga Chaitanya) and I used to travel together. So those two hours we truly enjoyed the beautiful scenery. It’s a very unique place,” the actor added.
The film is slated to release in theatres during Christmas 2021.
