Aasif Khan Eliminated From Bigg Boss 20 After Stormy Run
Panchayat actor Aasif Khan has been evicted from Bigg Boss 20, ending a run defined by BB News humour, close friendships and repeated clashes.

Aasif Khan’s Bigg Boss 20 journey has come to an end. The Panchayat actor, known to a large section of viewers before he entered the Salman Khan-hosted house, has been evicted after a run that was impossible to ignore — equal parts comedy and confrontation.
A two-sided stay in the house
Khan developed close friendships with ScoutOP and Yung DSA. He had started out on friendly terms with Love Gill and Aamrapali Dubey, but as the game moved forward he leaned into his bond with Scout and Yung and distanced himself from parts of the wider group.
At the same time, his recurring “BB News” bulletins gave the season a signature bit of comic relief. He presented house developments like a mock news reporter, and it became the format most associated with his stint.
But the lighter side was only half the story. His aggression during tasks and arguments was a regular talking point, and housemates and viewers alike criticised how he handled disagreements. Some contestants also took issue with how he spoke about his acting career and read a sense of superiority into it.
- Loyalties: close to ScoutOP and Yung DSA, after an early equation with Love Gill and Aamrapali Dubey.
- Comic identity: BB News bulletins that turned house drama into humour.
- Flashpoints: rule violations, task aggression and a bitter feud with Qazi Touqeer.
Rule violation, a Salman rebuke and the Qazi feud
One early controversy came after Khan discussed nominations with ScoutOP, Rohed Khan and Yung DSA. The makers directly nominated him as punishment. He openly disagreed and was heard saying, “ghar bhejna hai ghar bhejdo” — send me home if you want.
Host Salman Khan addressed the behaviour during a Weekend Ka Vaar episode and called Aasif the “epitome of badtameezi”. His most discussed clashes were with Qazi Touqeer. One argument dragged in a “dil ka daura” remark linked to an earlier health scare, and reports of physical contact, including an alleged headbutt, drew criticism outside the house. Gauahar Khan was among those who questioned the physical response.
A goodbye in character
Khan exited exactly as many viewers will remember him: behind the BB News desk. His final bulletin was a farewell and a future promise. “Friends, welcome to the last episode of BB News. Actor Aasif Khan’s journey ends here. I’ll meet you again in a new character at a cinema near you. You were watching BB News, Tathas Two,” he said.
That sign-off matters because it reframes the eviction as a pivot back to acting rather than an ending. Bigg Boss 20, meanwhile, loses one of its most consistent flashpoints — and one of its most recognisable in-house formats.
