Tiger Shroff’s Car Fired at in Juhu; Three Accused Held
Tiger Shroff escaped direct injury after shots were fired at his car in Juhu on Sunday. Three accused have been held; security is up at Salman Khan's home.
A routine Sunday of football in Juhu turned into a security emergency for Tiger Shroff. Mumbai Police say the firing took place around 7 pm on Sunday, as the actor was leaving a football club. Tiger escaped direct gunshot injuries, but his driver sustained injuries in the incident.
The timeline makes the news harder to absorb. Hours before the attack, videos captured the actor on the same turf, pausing to pose for pictures with fans, including children. Those clips surfaced online hours after the news broke and quickly became a talking point for fans struck by the gap between the warm photos and the violence that followed.
A kindness caught on camera
Actress Jaswir Kaur shared pictures from the ground and praised Tiger’s humbleness. She wrote that he “stayed back to click pictures” with the kids, a gesture she said “showed Your Kindness”.
Bigg Boss 19’s Abhishek Bajaj, who was playing football with the actor that evening, also posted to confirm that Tiger was safe.
Three accused, one terrifying near-miss
Mumbai Police have named three accused in the case:
- Rehan alias Sukka from Haryana
- Hritik Kurmi alias Roshan from Bihar
- a minor
Two of the accused are not from Maharashtra, so the case has already crossed state lines. The three had been apprehended and were to be handed over to the Mumbai Police. A Times Now report cited by Mid-day adds a chilling detail: one of the alleged shooters tried to fire at the actor from point-blank range after the initial rounds, but his pistol jammed.
A claim, a threat and tightened security
A social media post purportedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the attack and alleged that Tiger had ignored earlier warnings. The post also threatened members of the film industry who continue to work with Salman Khan. The post’s claims have not been officially confirmed; for now they are being reported as a social media post, not a verified statement.
Following the attack, security outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments has been tightened. Tiger’s mother, Ayesha Shroff, expressed relief after the frightening episode.
Why it matters for fans
Since the news broke, several Bollywood celebrities have expressed concern for the actor’s safety. The incident is a reminder of how quickly a celebrity’s everyday outing can turn unsafe. It also explains the heavier police presence around Salman Khan’s residence and the worried tone of the reactions now flooding social media. For now, the immediate focus stays on Tiger’s safety, his driver’s recovery and the case against the three accused.
