Bigg Boss 20: Aamrapali Questions Mahhi Vij’s Changing Bonds
Aamrapali Dubey tells Aasif Khan that Mahhi Vij reworks friendships when they stop being useful, and revisits her own Weekend Ka Vaar chat.

Bigg Boss 20 has a new talking point, and it is less about a task than about the way a friendship can flip inside the house. Aamrapali Dubey has spelled out why she thinks Mahhi Vij changes equations when they stop being useful, and the clip is already doing what the show does best: turning a conversation into a full-fledged house debate.
Her comments came in a chat with Aasif Khan. Aamrapali was careful to say the issue is not personal dislike. She framed it as concern about how Mahhi forms and maintains bonds when the game is on.
The YUNG DSA shift
The example Aamrapali reached for was Mahhi’s early equation with YUNG DSA. In Aamrapali’s account, Mahhi once described him as family and even called him a younger brother. That warmth, Aamrapali said, looked very different in a recent conversation.
When Mahhi said she was missing home, Aamrapali replied that the Bigg Boss house could also count as home. Mahhi’s answer, according to Aamrapali, was that it was not her family. For Aamrapali, that contrast is the whole point.
“So till the time people work, according to you they are correct, and once they stopped working according to you, so you term them wrong.”
Mahhi’s side of the exchange was not part of the moment, so the audience only has Aamrapali’s reading for now. In a format built on perception, that is often enough to set the timeline on fire.
A familiar Weekend Ka Vaar thread
This is not the first time Aamrapali’s own equations have been put under the spotlight. In an earlier Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan questioned her about her friendship with Love Gill and ScoutOP.
- Aamrapali said giving Love priority in the game came with an expectation of equal importance in return.
- She also felt Scout should not keep revisiting a conflict after it had been resolved.
- Salman appeared to agree with her reasoning during that discussion.
So Aamrapali is not new to defending the logic behind a bond.
Why the video is landing
Bigg Boss fans have always argued about whether relationships inside the house are personal or positional. Aamrapali’s comments give that argument a concrete case study: one contestant’s “family” remark, followed by a later “not my family” line, reads like evidence to one set of viewers and like homesickness to another.
For viewers, the next move matters. Whether Mahhi responds, and how the house reacts in the next task or nomination, will shape the narrative far more than the original comment alone.
