Now since Rohit Shetty’s police universe had gotten a tremendous hand-up with Sooryavanshi, with collections overcoming all pandemic pessimism, Shetty is poised to move forward for his next khaki series claimed blockbuster. This will be the third instalment inside the Singham franchise, featuring Ajay Devgn reprising his role as Singham. According to reports, Singham 3 would tackle the Indo-Pak cross-border terrorist issue front.
The research is already in full swing.
According to sources, the Pakistani sections of the film will be filmed in India. And, absolutely… The two other stars of Rohit Shetty’s policing world, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh will make a pivotal presence in Singham 3, much like Ranveer and Devgn did in Sooryavanshi.
However, Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar as well as Katrina Kaif, continues to be a box office success. Following the highest box office debut for a Bollywood movie during the Covid epidemic, fans continue to throng to theatres to see their favourite actors on the big screen.
On the second day of its release, November 7, Akshay Kumar’s movie has made Rs 23.85 crore. Following two days of operation, the overall business has grown to Rs 50.14 crore, up from Rs 26.29 crore on day one.
The movie seems to have been a long time coming, and that has had to postpone its release twice due to back-to-back lockdowns. It’s only natural to assume that now the combination of the event and indeed the big-budget picture would restore trust both in the movie industry and the public.
