Illumination Studios’ films are some of the most popular, and also the company was formed in 1997, making it one of the newest animated movie production businesses. Despicable Me, their first animated film, was a great success, and they have enormous ambitions for the future.
There are two projects that are lined up for illumination movie one is-
Sing 2
Sing 2 is a computer-animated musical fantasy movie created by Illumination Entertainment and distributed by Universal Pictures. Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Nick Kroll, Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly, Nick Offerman, and Garth Jennings play their parts first from the previous films in this followup to Sing. Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Pharrell Williams, Letitia Wright, Eric André, Chelsea Peretti, and Bono are all slated to reprise their roles in the sequel.
Universal Pictures is planning a December 22, 2021, theatrical run for the picture inside the United States.
Minions: The Rise of Gru
Minions: The Rise of Gru (also known as Minions 2) is indeed an upcoming computer-animated fantasy movie by Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures. It is also the fifth entry in the Despicable Me franchise, and also the sequel toward the spin-off precursor Minions (2015). The movie stars Taraji P. Henson, Michelle Yeoh, RZA, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Lucy Lawless, Dolph Lundgren, Danny Trejo, Russell Brand, Julie Andrews, and Alan Arkin, and is directed by Kyle Balda, alongside Brad Ableson and Jonathan del Val serving as co-directors.
Universal Pictures is set to release Minions: The Rise of Gru in theatres in the United States on July 1, 2022.
The premise of the movie-
A 12-year-old Gru is growing up in the suburbs soon after the 2015 movie, this time in the heart of the 1970s. Gru, a fan of the Vicious 6 supervillain organisation, devises a scheme to become nasty enough to join them. Gru interviews to join the Vicious 6 after its captain, famous fighter Wild Knuckles, is fired.
It doesn’t go well, and things only become worse when Gru, with the aid of Kevin, Stuart, Bob, Otto, and the other Minions, takes a valuable stone from them and becomes the deadly enemy of the pinnacle of evil. On the run, Gru and the Minions will seek advice from an unusual source: Wild Knuckles himself, and learn that even bad men need a little support from their pals.
