Parineeti Chopra took to social media today (September 6) as her film Shuddh Desi Romance completes eight years of release. The actress is missing her co-stars, Sushant Singh Rajput and Rishi Kapoor, as the film completes a milestone. She shared a special video clip featuring behind-the-scenes clips from the sets of the 2013 film which also starred Vaani Kapoor. Sushant and Rishi died in 2020.
Parineeti Chopra, who played the lead role opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Maneesh Sharma-directorial venture, Shuddh Desi Romance, took to Instagram on Monday and dropped a BTS clip and wrote along, “Miss you Sush. Miss you Rishi sir. Remembering you today..”

The romantic comedy-drama, Shuddh Desi Romance explores live-in relationships and marriages. The film features Parineeti Chopra, Vaani Kapoor, and Sushant Singh Rajput in lead roles. Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor was also seen in a pivotal role. Sushant (Raghu Ram) portrayed the role of a tourist guide who gets jitters before his arranged wedding to Tara (Vaani Kapoor). While debating about the idea of marriage, he falls in love with Gayatri (Parineeti). The duo then explores the idea of a live-in relationship.
For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14, 2020, at his Mumbai residence. The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) are investigating the death case with money laundering and drugs angles.
Iconic actor Rishi Kapoor, on the other hand, died on April 30, 2020, due to cancer. The veteran actor had been battling cancer since 2018.
