Sidharth Malhotra To Shantanu Maheshwari: Actors We Are Excited To See On The BIG Screen In 2024

The year 2023 has been a fantastic year for Bollywood, leaving the audience thrilled and excited for what 2024 has in store. Many actors who have ruled the OTT world are making a comeback to the big screen, and some who took a break are getting back into the market. Altogether, the audience can expect to be treated to an amazing cinematic experience.

Here are Bollywood actors we are excited to see on the big screen:

Sidharth Malhotra – Yodha
Sidharth Malhotra, who has been away from the big screen for two years, is all set to make his comeback with his upcoming movie ‘Yodha’. The movie is an action-packed thriller in which Sidharth portrays the character of an off-duty soldier who is a passenger on a hijacked plane, and how he fights against the terrorists. The movie also stars Disha Patani and Rashi Khanna alongside Sidharth. ‘Yodha’ is scheduled to be released in March 2024.

Shantanu Maheshwari – Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha!
Shantanu Maheshwari will star in the upcoming romantic drama film ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’. The movie is set to release in theatres on April 24 and is expected to win many hearts, especially those of female fans. This will be Shantanu’s first appearance on the big screen after his role in ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. The movie is directed by Neeraj Pandey.

Karan Singh Grover – Fighter
Karan Singh Grover is making a comeback in movies after a long time. He will be seen in the movie ‘Fighter’ alongside Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor. The movie is based on the emotional and patriotic journey of the IAF aviators. The songs of the movie have already made the fans groove to them and the release date is set for 25 January 2024.

Aditya Roy Kapoor – Metro… In Dino
Aditya Roy Kapur, who gained massive success from the series ‘The Night Manager’, is set to return to the big screen in the upcoming movie ‘Metro In Dino’. The film is a collection of stories that revolve around bittersweet relationships in a contemporary setting, showcasing the lives of individuals living in a metropolitan city. Along with Aditya, the movie also features Anupam Kher, Ali Faisal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, and many more. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film is expected to be released in September 2024.

Rajkummar Rao – Stree 2
The audience has been eagerly waiting for the release date of the long-awaited second part ’Stree’. Finally, the wait is over as ‘Vicky’ is set to return to the big screen in August 2024. Fans have been excited ever since RajKummar Rao made a cameo appearance in the post-credit scene of the movie ‘Bhediya’, which also hints at the possibility of Varun Dhawan making an appearance in the upcoming film.

Shantanu Maheshwari wows audiences with his exceptional dancing and acting in ‘Campus Beats’ Season Finale

The much-loved series ‘Campus Beats’ is back with its final season on Amazon miniTV, and has already emerged as a hit within just one day of its release. Packed with romance, drama, friendship, mystery, and intense rivalries, the teen drama in season three follows students dealing with college life challenges in rather exciting and unexpected ways. Yet again, fans get to see a lot of dancing with a peek into the lives of these students who are trying to find themselves in their ever-evolving journey.

Shantanu Maheshwari, essaying the role of Ishaan, has yet again amazed the audience with his brilliant acting and extraordinary dancing in the series. Fans have been showering immense love on his dialogues, dance moves, and never-seen-before-fashion looks, which bring with them a very refreshing Hollywood charm. Video clips from the show have already gone viral on social media, stirring fans’ emotions as the series comes to its finale.

The third season of ‘Campus Beats’ premiered on Amazon miniTV on December 5 onwards.

Fans of critically acclaimed actor Shantanu Maheshwari can finally rejoice as the Amazon miniTV series titled ‘Campus Beats’ featuring the talented Shantanu Maheshwari along with Shruti Sinha, Sahaj Singh Chahal, Tanvi Gadkari, Harsh Dingwanii and more is finally out now. Back with yet another intriguing story of a dance-off set on a college campus, Shantanu Maheshwari’s character instantly gets you glued to the screen, wanting you to unfold several layers of him. Laced with dance, rivalry, love, and more, ‘Campus Beats’ showcases the actor in a challenging, never-seen-before avatar.

Opening up about his character in the show, Shantanu Maheshwari said, “This is one of the toughest characters that I’ve played to date because it has a lot of layers. He’s a Bad boy Casanova who’s also very righteous but has a lot of emotional baggage with him. It’s been a great experience working on this project and we have given it all our heart. As his song video Tut Gaya debuts, Shantanu Maheshwari declares that “long-distance relationships do not work”

Shantanu Maheswari, whose recent music video ‘Tut Gaya’ is about a young couple’s long-distance relationship, says that despite technology advancements that allow him to contact loved ones at all times, a long-distance relationship does not work for him.

Ashnoor Kaur, the young actress from ‘Patiala Babes,’ appears in the song video. Stebin Ben sings the song, which was penned by Kunwar Juneja and composed by Gourov Dasgupta.

Shantanu Maheswari said IANS when asked about long-distance relationships: “I think when it comes to relationships, it is not just about talking but feeling the comfort of your loved ones’ a quiet presence So while video chats, SMS, and other forms of communication are fantastic for staying in contact, nothing beats the real thing: holding hands and enjoying a peaceful walk.

“That is why for me, long-distance relationship does not work, especially if I want to convert it into a commitment and marriage. It is not out of sight out of mind, but we want to nurture the love that we have in our heart…long distance does not offer that.”

Adding to that Asnoor said, ” I think it depends on the depth of love you have for the person and that could be anyone. For instance, even though I love rest of my family members, I love my mom the most.

“So when I stay away from home for shooting or other work, after two days, all I want is to run back to her and give a tight hug. It is one of those warmth and physical presence. Of course with video calls, at times we do not feel the absence of our loved ones. But for me, any long-distance relationship, for lovers especially, works only to an extent.”

The music video was shot in Haridwar and Rishikesh, and both of the teenagers commented on how amusing it was to be semi-famous while acting on site.

Shantanu Maheswari said, ” It was funny to act in front of people when the camera is rolling on a live location. Post the release of ‘Gangubai’ people recognised my face more so they would look at me with curiosity but the moment there is a retake, it’s as if they are judging me! But overall it was fun!”

“But for me, it was exciting to shoot the video because we shot it almost like a film and our director Aditya Vinay Datt worked on our character with great detail,” added Ashnoor.

‘Tut Gaya,’ produced by Saregama Music, was published on Saregama’s YouTube channel as well as all music streaming platforms.
