Padma awardee and legendary actress B. Saroja Devi passed away on Monday in Bengaluru at the age of 87. Fondly known as ‘Abhinaya Saraswathi’, she acted in over 200 films across Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema. Introduced to Tamil films in 1957 by B.R. Panthulu, she soon became one of Indian cinema’s reigning stars. In Hindi cinema, she starred in several hits alongside top actors like Rajendra Kumar and Shammi Kapoor, including Sasural, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya, Hong Kong, and Suraj.
Passes Away
Actor Mukul Dev passed away on May 23 at the age of 54. The actor had been unwell for the past few days and was admitted to the ICU, where he breathed his last. He is survived by his brother, actor Rahul Dev.
The news of Mukul’s demise was confirmed by actor Vindu Dara Singh, his co-star in the film Son of Sardar, in a statement to India Today. Mourning the loss, Vindu said, “It’s heartbreaking. Mukul won’t be able to see himself on the big screen again.”
Mukul Dev was known for his versatile performances across Hindi, Punjabi, and South Indian films, as well as popular television shows. He made his acting debut in the 1996 film Dastak and appeared in movies like Qila, Yamla Pagla Deewana, Son of Sardar, and many more, often remembered for his intense screen presence.
Legendary actor and filmmaker Manoj Kumar passed away at the age of 87 in Mumbai. According to news agency ANI, he breathed his last at 4:03 AM at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Friday morning.
Medical reports confirm that the cause of his demise was cardiogenic shock due to acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a severe heart attack. Additionally, Manoj Kumar had been battling decompensated liver cirrhosis over the past few months, which further contributed to his deteriorating health. He was admitted to the hospital on February 21, 2025, for treatment but succumbed to his illness.

Actor Sidharth Shukla passes away due to a heart attack at the age of 40
According to sources, actor and Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla suffered a heart attack on Thursday, September 2 at Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital. Sidharth was 40 years old at the time. According to hospital authorities, Sidharth took certain medicines prior to sleeping and did not wake up. He died of a heart arrest, according to the hospital, which later verified to the media. The postmortem is presently being performed, and the corpse will be released soon, according to the reports.
Sidharth Shukla, a famous name for the television and film industry. He was an Actor, better remembered for the TV show Balika Vadhu and the Bollywood blockbuster Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania died on September 2nd. The storey was confirmed by a Cooper Hospital employee.
