Yes, you read that right! The global Icon and K-POP sensation is the King of Fake Cry. He is a South Korean singer, composer, and artist who goes by the stage name V. He is a member of the South Korean boy band BTS as a vocalist.
Talking about his early life and education, apart from being the king of fake crying, Kim was born inside the Seo District of Daegu, South Korea, on December 30, 1995, and grew up in Geochang County. With a younger brother and sister, he is the oldest of three children. V wanted to be a good professional singer since he was in elementary school. In early junior high, with his father’s encouragement, he immediately took saxophone lessons with an interest in pursuing a career in music. After clearing an audition in Daegu, V ultimately became a trainee for Big Hit Entertainment.
Then V enrolled at Global Cyber University after graduating from Korean Arts High School in 2014, and he completed in August 2020 with a degree in Broadcast and Entertainment. He is studying a Master of Business Administration in Advertising and Media at Hanyang Cyber University as of 2021.
