Mom is a 2017 Hindi-language criminal thriller helmed by Ravi Udyawar and based on a script by Girish Kohli. Sridevi plays a vigilante that vows to revenge on her stepdaughter after she is sexually raped at a party in the movie. In supporting parts, the movie features Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Akshaye Khanna, plus Pakistani performers Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui. A. R. Rahman scored and produced the soundtrack for the movie. Sridevi made her 300th and last big cinema performance in this movie prior to her demise on February 24, 2018.
The movie was released in four languages on July 7, 2017, and had been a critical and economic triumph. The movie won two prizes there at 65th National Film Awards, including Best Actress for Sridevi, who received the prize for the first time after her death, and Best Background Score for A.R. Rahman. Sridevi was nominated for Best Actress and Best Actress (Critics) at the 63rd Filmfare Awards, while Siddiqui was nominated for Best Supporting Actor. The movie has made 175 crores (US$25 million) at the box office throughout the globe, with $16.02 million (110.8 crores) in China.
The SoundTrack of the movie-
T-Series published the compilation album on June 27, 2017. Mom’s debut song, “O Sona Tere Liye,” received favourable reviews, with Indian Express calling it “a soothing salve for a broken spirit” and The Times of India writing that perhaps the “tune will stir your soul.” The National Film Award for Best Music Direction – Background Score went to Rahman.

Making of the film
