Ramayana Part One Hindi day-one forecast cut to Rs 52-60 crore
Pinkvilla's final tracker trims Ramayana Part One's Hindi opening to Rs 52-60 crore nett, with first forecasts for Yeh Prem Mol Liya and Gunmaaster G9.

The final pre-release tracker from Pinkvilla has trimmed the opening-day expectation for Ramayana Part One while two new titles enter the conversation for 27 November 2026. For fans who track first-day numbers as closely as the films themselves, the update separates the big-canvas release from the mid-range bets.
Ramayana Part One: a more cautious final number
The Hindi opening forecast for Ramayana Part One has been revised down to Rs 52-60 crore nett, with a pinpoint estimate of Rs 56 crore nett. Pinkvilla’s final pre-release note attributes the softer number to two market conditions: the pre-Diwali period is limiting advance momentum in northern India, and the dubbed versions are taking away some business in the key South metros of Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
The projection is based on 2D ticket pricing. If 3D charges are included, the first-day number could be roughly 10 per cent higher.
Yeh Prem Mol Liya: a director’s return, not a first-day play
Sooraj Barjatya’s comeback film, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, is forecast to open at Rs 4-7 crore nett. Barjatya’s filmography carries enormous goodwill, but his biggest openings have tended to arrive when a superstar led the project. In this case, the trade view is that his real strength is staying power, not a massive initial.
Ayushmann’s recent non-franchise films have been opening in the Rs 3-4 crore nett range, so a conservative first day is the base case. The director’s track record could still offer some upside, but the numbers suggest word of mouth will matter more than the opening figure.
Gunmaaster G9: a music-led start
Emraan Hashmi’s Gunmaaster G9 is forecast at Rs 2.5-5.5 crore nett on day one. It arrives after the success of Awarapan 2 and sits in a similar space, but it lacks the franchise recognition that gave the earlier film an early advantage.
The initial number is likely to be driven by music. One song has reportedly worked well, and the trailer could still change the forecast in either direction before release.
What to watch next
These forecasts are estimates of organic collections, not final reported figures. Pinkvilla’s tracker also focuses on films with strong cast value or measurable awareness before release, so it is not a full release calendar. The useful takeaway for fans is to watch the legs, not just the opening day, especially for a Barjatya film. That makes 27 November a useful test of three different box-office engines: spectacle, a legacy director’s goodwill and genre music.
- Ramayana Part One: Rs 52-60 crore nett Hindi opening, pinpoint Rs 56 crore.
- Yeh Prem Mol Liya: Rs 4-7 crore nett first day, with word of mouth as the real test.
- Gunmaaster G9: Rs 2.5-5.5 crore nett first day, with music and trailer as triggers.
