Naslen Is Sony in Bachelor Party D’eux, Out November 19

Premalu star Naslen unveils his character Sony in Amal Neerad's actioner Bachelor Party D'eux, in theatres November 19, with a stacked Malayalam ensemble.

Naslen reveals his action avatar in Bachelor Party D'eux

Naslen’s first look as Sony in Amal Neerad’s Bachelor Party D’eux is here, and it signals a sharp turn for the Premalu breakout star. The team shared two character posters this week, both showing Naslen in a dual-gun pose that moves him firmly into action-hero framing.

Bachelor Party D’eux is set for a theatrical release on November 19. That makes the character reveal the opening beat of a promotion cycle for a film billed as a spiritual sequel to Amal Neerad’s 2012 Bachelor Party—not a direct continuation, but a new story that borrows the earlier title’s universe and attitude.

Who else is in the frame

The reveal matters because it places Naslen inside one of the more stacked ensembles in recent Malayalam cinema. Kunchacko Boban, Soubin Shahir, Sharaf U Dheen, Sreenath Bhasi, Chandu Salimkumar and Shine Tom Chacko lead the cast, with Paris Laxmi, Nadiya Moidu, Rajisha Vijayan, Jyothirmayi and Hansika Krishnakumar also on board. Tovino Thomas is reported to appear in a cameo.

That mix brings together established Malayalam stars, character actors with loyal followings and younger names who have built momentum over the last few years. Naslen’s inclusion is the audience-bridging piece: he brings the wide affection earned from Premalu into a filmmaker’s more stylised action world, and the posters lean on that transformation.

Why the director connection counts

Amal Neerad has built a reputation for a distinct visual language—moody frames, controlled action set pieces and style that feels intentional. Returning to a title connected with his 2012 film gives Bachelor Party D’eux both nostalgia and room to assemble a fresh set of characters. The technical team includes cinematographer Appu Prabhakar, editor Vivek Harshan and composer Christo Xavier. Dialogues are by Unni R, who has worked with Amal Neerad before. The film is jointly produced by Amal Neerad Productions, Anwar Rasheed Entertainments and Fahadh Faasil and Friends.

Two releases, two audiences

For Naslen, the first look arrives in an unusually crowded fortnight. His Tamil debut Scene, directed by Jithu Madhavan and starring Suriya alongside Nazriya Nazim, opens on November 6. That puts two visibly different projects less than two weeks apart.

  • Scene arrives first on November 6, timed to the Diwali window, and introduces him to Tamil audiences opposite Suriya.
  • Bachelor Party D’eux follows on November 19, returning him to Malayalam cinema’s ensemble action space under Amal Neerad.

For fans, the posters offer an early clue about Sony’s place in the story: sharp, armed and presented as a conversation starter ahead of the next promotional drop. If the team keeps releasing character-first material at this pace, the November 19 date should stay top of mind without needing to oversell the plot.
