Drishyam The Conclusion Set to Cross Rs 300 Crore by Sunday
Ajay Devgn's Drishyam: The Conclusion jumps 75-80% on second Saturday, netting over Rs 25 crore and heading past Rs 300 crore India by Sunday.

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam: The Conclusion is moving faster in its second weekend, not slower. Early trade trends from Pinkvilla put the film’s second Saturday India collection at over Rs 25 crore nett, a jump of 75-80 per cent from the previous day.
The report notes that a big second-Saturday lift was always expected, but the film has actually delivered it. That is the difference between a projection and a result, and it changes the rest of the weekend’s outlook.
The second-weekend maths
With Saturday’s surge, the second-week total for two days now stands at around Rs 39 crore nett. The full second weekend is projected to reach at least Rs 65 crore nett. If those numbers hold, the film will cross Rs 300 crore nett in India by the end of Sunday.
- Second Saturday: over Rs 25 crore nett, up 75-80% from Friday
- Two-day second-week tally: around Rs 39 crore nett
- Second-weekend projection: at least Rs 65 crore nett
- Milestone after Sunday: past Rs 300 crore nett in India
Metro centres are doing the heavy lifting
The surge is most visible in the larger metro markets. These centres grew 25-30 per cent on Friday and have accelerated by 80-100 per cent on Saturday. That metro strength is a big reason the film is expected to put up such a strong weekend number.
It also explains the weekday pattern. Metro-heavy films tend to be more weekend-led, which is why the business softened after the first weekend and could do the same in the week ahead. As Pinkvilla’s trade note puts it, this is simply the way the business behaves in those markets, not a sign that interest has collapsed.
Why this matters for the film’s run
Clearing Rs 300 crore nett by the second Sunday would set up the next big target. The trade believes Rs 400 crore nett should now be relatively straightforward, partly because the film has a mostly clear run until Diwali.
There are a couple of releases scheduled in the interim, but neither is expected to put up major competition. That open window gives the film room to keep adding collections through the festive build-up.
What to watch next
As with all early trade reports, these are subjective estimates based on advance trends and market sentiment, not certified accounting. The key confirmatory number will be the official Sunday total. If the Rs 300 crore mark is confirmed, the next question is no longer whether the film is a hit, but how far it can travel before the Diwali releases arrive.
