Diljit Dosanjh Hints at Koffee With Karan 9, One Interview Only
Diljit Dosanjh says he has said yes to just one interview in 2026, and fans think the timing points to Koffee With Karan 9.
Diljit Dosanjh may be heading back to Karan Johar’s couch. In a recent Instagram Live, the singer-actor told fans he has accepted one interview offer — and that it will be his only interview this year.
Why fans think it is Koffee With Karan 9
Dosanjh did not name the show. He said the team behind the offer described it as their last show for the year, and that the timing convinced him to say yes.
“I am only going to do one interview this year. Only that one this year,” he said.
The wording points strongly toward Karan Johar’s chat show, which is running its ninth and final season and is built on headline-making celebrity conversations. Fans in the comments quickly began guessing that Diljit would reunite with Johar, with a few wondering aloud if Vicky Kaushal might appear too. Neither the singer-actor nor the show’s makers have confirmed an appearance.
Koffee With Karan 9 so far
The season returned on October 14 and has already kept personal revelations at the centre: Salman Khan clarified his earlier “being a virgin” comment from a past appearance, while Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna used their episode to talk about their relationship and marriage.
- Episode 1: Salman Khan opened the season, with Karisma Kapoor making a special appearance.
- Episode 2: Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna made their Koffee debut as a married couple.
- Episode 3: Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are next, with Arjun Kapoor joining for a surprise segment.
Why one interview matters
Diljit’s previous Koffee With Karan appearance came in Season 6 with rapper Badshah, where his admission of a social media crush on Kylie Jenner became one of the episode’s most-cited moments. If his 2026 media calendar really contains only one interview, that appearance becomes the single place audiences can catch his updates — the kind of scarcity that makes a final-season Koffee episode feel like an event.
For viewers, the hook is straightforward: Koffee With Karan is saying goodbye with its biggest conversations, and a Diljit episode would combine a beloved guest with the show’s last-run energy. Until then, the speculation itself is part of the buzz.
The next thing to watch is simple: an official announcement, if and when it comes.
