Ayushmann Khurrana is set to bring a new ‘Prem’ to life in Sooraj Barjatya’s next family rom-com, shooting from November 2025. Sharvari joins the cast in December, with filming scheduled across six months.
The untitled project is described as a humorous romantic tale revolving around nuclear families. The casting process has begun, with Barjatya keen to bring seasoned actors on board for key roles.
This will mark Barjatya’s 8th directorial venture, following classics like Vivah, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, and Uunchai. Meanwhile, Ayushmann also has Thama, a Karan Johar-produced spy comedy, and a YRF dark comedy lined up.
