Amitabh, Akshay, Aamir Were Surveyed Before Tiger Shroff Firing

Mumbai Crime Branch sources say the accused in the Tiger Shroff firing case surveyed Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan before switching targets.

Amitabh, Akshay, Aamir Were Surveyed Before Tiger Shroff Firing

Mumbai Police sources have shared a chilling detail in the Tiger Shroff firing investigation: the accused allegedly surveyed the homes of Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan before the plan shifted.

The three actors were not harmed, and none of them has been reported as being approached. But the disclosure changes the picture of the Juhu attack, which initially looked like a targeted strike on Shroff.

What the Crime Branch says

The Mumbai Crime Branch has said from the beginning that Tiger Shroff was not the original target. Sources now add that the accused assessed security arrangements at the residences of Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan, then dropped those plans because they could not get close.

“Tiger Shroff was not the shooters’ original target. The three shooters were targeting a prominent Bollywood celebrity. However, the celebrity’s security was so tight that the shooters were unable to target them,” the Crime Branch said, according to ANI.

The accused then turned to Shroff because they considered him an easier target, based on his security and movements.

Three names, three abandoned plans

  • Amitabh Bachchan — reportedly recced first and ruled out over stringent protection.
  • Akshay Kumar — also surveyed, with his security seen as too difficult to breach.
  • Aamir Khan — his residence was assessed and then abandoned for the same reason.

The Juhu firing and the Bishnoi claim

The attack took place around 7 pm on Sunday, when Tiger Shroff was leaving a football club in Juhu. He escaped unhurt, and his driver suffered injuries. Three bike-borne suspects fled the scene.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang later claimed responsibility in a viral social media post. Police have not verified the authenticity of that post, PTI reported. That leaves the motive an open part of the investigation.

Three accused face interrogation

On Wednesday, the three key accused were brought to Mumbai from Kota, Rajasthan. They had been apprehended from a train on Monday and were kept overnight at a police station before the transfer.

After a medical examination, the accused were taken to the Anti-Extortion Cell office for questioning. Their lawyer, Ajinkya Mirgal Madhukar, said the convoy had gone directly from Rajasthan for the medical checkup and that the accused would be presented before court in the morning.

Police are now verifying the disclosures about the three actors as the interrogation continues.

Why this matters for fans

Beyond the immediate crime, the case offers a rare look at how security works for top stars. Three A-listers were effectively protected by the strength of their arrangements. The accused allegedly worked through a list and moved to a target they considered easier to reach.

That makes this more than a single firing incident. It is a reminder that celebrity safety often depends on visible, layered security, and that attackers may switch targets when one door is too hard to open.
