Abhishek Kapoor Praises Rasha Thadani: “She Has The Hunger To Learn And The Grace To Grow”

Director and former actor Abhishek Kapoor has showered praise on young actress Rasha Thadani, who made a promising Bollywood debut with the film Azaad and quickly became one of the new faces that the industry is keeping an eye on.

Rasha stepped into Hindi cinema with Azaad, an action-adventure film directed by Kapoor that introduced her to the big screen alongside Aaman Devgan. The film helped the young actress gain attention for her screen presence, and her performance soon had both audiences and industry insiders talking. Among those impressed by her work is Kapoor himself, who recently opened up about her growth as an actor.

In a recent magazine interaction, Abhishek Kapoor spoke highly about Rasha’s dedication and instinctive approach to acting. Praising the young star, he shared, “Watching Rasha evolve in front of the camera has been truly special. There’s an honesty in her performances that can’t be taught, it comes from instinct. On work front, Rasha has an interesting slate of projects lined up. She will next be seen in Laikey Laikaa, a romantic entertainer where she shares screen space with Abhay Verma. The film is expected to release in Summer 2026.

Apart from this, the young actress is also expanding her horizons beyond Bollywood. She is set to make her Telugu cinema debut with director Ajay Bhupathi’s upcoming film, tentatively titled AB4, where she will star opposite Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni.
