As Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is back in her shoot life routine, currently she is prepping for her first action sequence in the industry in her one of the most awaited film ‘Pathan’. Read below to know more details.
Deepika Padukone is back on set for her long-awaited film Pathan, in which she will reunite with her debut co-star Shahrukh Khan. Deepika will be seen in high-octane action for the first time on Indian screens, for which she has fully committed and is pushing the envelope to give her best on-screen performance yet.
A close source from the unit of the film reveals that “Despite juggling multiple film shoots, Deepika doesn’t miss training for Pathan. The workout includes a mix of functional training and Yoga. She dedicates 1.5 hours of her day towards workout for 6 days a week, keeping one day break for rejuvenation. Deepika is also following a strict diet regime, as advised to her.”
Deepika was recently diagnosed with a severe case of Covid-19, after which she recovered and resumed her film schedule. Speaking about the same, the source further added, “Getting back on sets after a severe bout of Covid-19, took a lot of emotional and physical strength for Deepika. She is still pushing to get her fitness and health completely back, and is fully committed to it.”

Since the lockdown has been lifted, Deepika has been juggling two films at the same time. She had just concluded one schedule of Pathan and was also shooting for Shakun Batra’s untitled next. She also has Nag Ashwin’s next project starring Prabhas, The Intern remake, Mahabharata, ’83, and Fighter in the works, in addition to Pathan and Shakun Batra’s next.
