Muzammil Ibrahim garnered praise for his portrayal in Neeraj Pandey’s Special Ops 2 released last month. And the impact of its success is reverberating as the actor has now been approached for another big project, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War.
An insider source tells us, “Muzammil has been approached by the casting team for an important character in Love & War. While the details of it are being kept under wraps, it is a character with grey shade and will play a poignant part in the story and the main conflict in the film. The actor is yet to give his nod for the part.”
Muzammil has been a part of both seasons of Special Ops and his character Avinash has been widely lauded by the audience and industry alike. While the actor has been quite selective about his projects, Love & War will be a big addition to his filmography if the team up happens.
Love & War marks a reunion of Sanjay with Ranbir Kapoor after his debut film Saawariya, and with Alia Bhatt after Gangubai Kathiawadi, which bagged her a National Film Award for Best Actress. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal and is a periodic drama, with Ranbir and Vicky playing Air Force officers in it. Love & War will be released in theatres next year.
