Bachelor Party D’eux trailer: Naslen, Tovino, Kunchacko face off
Amal Neerad's Bachelor Party D'eux trailer brings Naslen, Tovino Thomas and Kunchacko Boban to Kochi while keeping the release date under wraps.

The gang gets a second round
Amal Neerad is back in the world that made Bachelor Party a slow-burn success. The sequel, Bachelor Party D’eux, has just unveiled its first full trailer, with Naslen, Tovino Thomas and Kunchacko Boban leading the new chapter. The first film hit screens in 2012 and grew into a Malayalam cult favourite, so this follow-up arrives with an audience that already cares.
The film was initially tied to November 19, 2026, but after the trailer drop the makers are keeping the exact release date under wraps. That choice keeps the spotlight on the footage rather than the countdown, and it gives the campaign room to breathe.
A new crew, a suave enemy
The 2-minute-11-second trailer takes place once again in the backstreets of Kochi. It introduces a fresh group of characters, a ragtag crew that crosses a polished, stylish antagonist. Conflict follows quickly, and the trailer builds through a chain of tight confrontations into several action-heavy moments.
Visually, it is the strongest part of the package. The edit moves with confidence and the palette feels sleek. Christo Xavier is handling the score, and the music gives the trailer a gritty, modern lift. What the film is really about, beyond the chaos, is still being held back.
Why the 2012 original matters
The first Bachelor Party followed Tony, a man who had left a violent past behind for a quiet life with his wife Neethu and their newborn child. When an old rival resurfaced, his childhood friends returned to protect him and were pulled into a chain of dangerous events. After Tony’s death, the friends tried to honour their promise to shield his family, leading to a risky currency mission, unexpected allies and one final showdown.
Asif Ali, Rahman, Kalabhavan Mani, Indrajith Sukumaran, Vinayakan and Nithya Menen carried the original, and Prithviraj Sukumaran made a cameo. Reviews were mixed, but the film became a commercial success and a reference point in Malayalam cinema. It is also said to be partially inspired by Hollywood’s Sin City.
Who joins the new instalment
- Naslen, Tovino Thomas and Kunchacko Boban lead the sequel.
- Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Shine Tom Chacko and Sharaf U Dheen join the ensemble.
- Rajisha Vijayan, Hansika Krishna, Jyothirmayi, Nadia Moidu and Paris Laxmi are also in key roles.
For fans, the next step is straightforward: watch the trailer, revisit the original if the backstory feels distant, and keep the film on your radar. The first look is polished, though it does not yet reveal a fresh hook strong enough to guarantee the old magic. That is a fair concern for a sequel to a cult favourite, and it is exactly what the next promo will need to answer.
