Fahadh Faasil's Don't Trouble The Trouble Hits Netflix Oct 30

Fahadh Faasil’s Don’t Trouble The Trouble is moving from the big screen to streaming quickly. The fantasy comedy-drama had a theatrical run from October 2, 2026, and is now slated for a Netflix premiere on October 30, 2026.

For Indian viewers who missed it in cinemas, this is an easy second chance. The film is already visible in Netflix’s upcoming catalogue, so it can be added to a watchlist before the date arrives.

The story of Suri and Divya

Suri works as an ambulance driver in Hyderabad and dreams of a comfortable life in Dubai. He is clever and a little selfish, and he is used to making quick money by tricking people. The pressure rises when gang leader Aslam Bhai gives him two days to arrange Rs 25 lakh.

His desperate plan is to take a child from a wealthy family and demand a ransom. He targets ten-year-old Divya and her beagle, Snoopy. The twist is that Divya is not afraid of Suri. She believes he is a powerful wizard who can help her find her missing parents.

When Suri tries to get the money from Divya’s wealthy uncle Pratap, he learns the truth: Divya is a wandering spirit who does not know her own circumstances. Her belief that her parents are missing comes from a deep emotional longing. Suri finds himself torn between his need for cash and his growing affection for the girl.

Instead of only planning his escape, he uses his street smarts and his ambulance to help Divya understand her family and find emotional closure.

Cast and crew

Fahadh Faasil leads as Suri, with Baby Ssara Palekar as Divya. Saurabh Sachdeva, Mahesh Manjrekar and Venkatesh Kakumanu are also part of the key cast.

Shashank Yeleti directs and co-writes with Hamza Ali. The producers are SS Karthikeya, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, under the banners Showing Business and Arka Media Works. Kaala Bhairava handles the music, Brad Francis is the cinematographer, and Praveen Antony edits the film.

Why this release is worth your time

Fahadh Faasil has built a reputation for choosing films that mix genre play with emotional depth, and Don’t Trouble The Trouble sits in that lane. The story moves from a kidnapping plan to a gently supernatural family mystery, which gives it a different texture from a standard comedy.

The short gap between the theatrical release and the Netflix date also means viewers do not have to wait long. For a family watch or a low-key weekend stream, the film offers a mix of humour, fantasy and sentiment.

Before you press play

Add the title to your Netflix list now so it appears on October 30. Watch the official trailer if you want a feel for the tone, but keep the supernatural reveal for the film itself.

Go in expecting a fantasy comedy-drama, not a thriller. The emotional arc between Suri and Divya is the core, and the mystery unfolds around that relationship rather than through constant twists.
