Bigg Boss 20: Gauahar, Aman Back Qazi After Asif’s Headbutt

Gauahar Khan and Aman Gandhi speak up after Asif Khan headbutts Qazi Touqeer over a 'dil ka daura' remark on Bigg Boss 20. Here's what happened.

Gauahar and Aman Back Qazi After Bigg Boss Headbutt

A joke about a “dil ka daura” has become the latest flashpoint inside the Bigg Boss 20 house. After the nominations task, contestant Qazi Touqeer told Mahhi Vij he was having a “dil ka daura” during a conversation. The remark did not sit well with Asif Khan, who has previously spoken about his own health scare.

Asif was hospitalised in 2025 after experiencing chest pain. Initial reports described the episode as a heart attack, but he later clarified that he had gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which causes symptoms similar to a heart attack.

What happened inside the house

As the argument escalated, Asif headbutted Qazi. The moment quickly drew reactions from former contestants and viewers outside the house.

  • Qazi made the “dil ka daura” remark to Mahhi Vij after the nominations task.
  • Asif, who was hospitalised in 2025, reacted physically during the argument.
  • Gauahar Khan and Aman Gandhi have both spoken in Qazi’s favour.
  • Qazi apologised once he realised Asif’s history.

Gauahar Khan questions the aggression

Reacting to a video of the clash, Gauahar Khan asked when headbutting became acceptable on Bigg Boss. She said provocation, however intense, does not justify physical aggression.

“Bhai headbut karna kab se allowed hai Bigg Boss mein?” she said in an Instagram Story. She also praised Qazi for not responding to the headbutt in the same way, calling the move “not cool.”

Aman Gandhi says the remark was blown out of proportion

Aman Gandhi, who was evicted from the show last week, said he does not believe Qazi intended to hurt Asif. He felt the comment slipped out without Qazi understanding how big it would become.

“The moment he realised that Asif has a heart problem, it got triggered from there. So he apologised. For me, woh baat thodi out of proportion chali gayi,” Aman said. He also urged Asif to control his aggression, saying the situation could have been resolved without escalating further.

Why it matters

The clash has shifted the conversation from a careless joke to a question about physical aggression on reality TV. Former contestants rarely step in this quickly, and their comments suggest the headbutt, not the remark, is now the story.
