Tiger Shroff was leaving an All Stars Football Club match in Juhu when gunfire erupted near his car. Here's what to know about the celebrity team.

Tiger Shroff Firing: 18 Players Were at All Stars FC Match

Tiger Shroff’s regular Sunday football run in Mumbai’s Juhu turned into a security scare this weekend, and it has put a familiar celebrity institution back in the news: the All Stars Football Club.

The actor was leaving the ground after a match when unidentified men opened fire near his vehicle, according to reports. Shroff was not hit, but his driver and another person were injured.

What happened at the Juhu match

About 18 players had taken part in the game before the shooting, including Aparshakti Khurana, Abhimanyu Dassani, Karan Veer Mehra and Abhishek Bajaj, along with choreographer Caesar Gonsalves. Several players were reportedly still at the venue as the situation unfolded.

Mumbai Police have since stepped up security for celebrities in the Juhu area, with reports noting special attention to filmmaker Rohit Shetty.

What is All Stars Football Club?

ASFC is a celebrity football team that brings actors, filmmakers, television personalities, fashion figures and sports names onto the same pitch. It was founded by Bunty Walia and is owned and managed by GS Worldwide Entertainment.

The club’s first match took place in New Delhi on March 30, 2013, against a side of Indian cricketers at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. That game raised funds for an organisation working with children and young people, and charity has remained part of the team’s identity.

Who plays for the team

The official roster is a who’s who of Bollywood and beyond:

  • Tiger Shroff, Abhishek Bachchan and Kartik Aaryan
  • Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Dino Morea
  • Aparshakti Khurana, Jim Sarbh, Aadar Jain, Ahan Shetty and Ibrahim Ali Khan
  • Television stars Karan Wahi, Shabir Ahluwalia and Vivian Dsena
  • Tennis legend Leander Paes and filmmaker Shoojit Sircar

ASFC holds regular Sunday matches in Juhu, where fans gather to watch and photographers often linger for a glimpse of the stars off-duty.

Why this matters for fans

The firing is a reminder that even casual celebrity routines, like a weekend football game, can become security events. For fans who treat the Juhu matches as a chance to spot their favourites, the fallout could mean more visible policing and tighter access around the venue.

For now, the good news is that Shroff escaped without a bullet injury. But the incident has turned attention from the scoreboard to safety.
