Triptii Dimri Is Victoria’s Secret’s First Ambassador for India
The actor, Victoria's Secret's first-ever brand ambassador for India, layered lace, feathers and crystal details at the 2026 LA show.

When Victoria’s Secret rolled out its 2026 pink carpet in Los Angeles, Triptii Dimri arrived as the brand’s first-ever ambassador for India. Her black ensemble leaned into contrast: delicate lace, soft feather trims, a shimmering silver skirt and sheer tulle layered together into one head-turning look.
The actor wore a black bustier built from lace and mesh, then added a cropped silver-and-black tweed jacket over her shoulders. A silver-embroidered skirt carried the metallic thread, while the sheer layers and feather trim kept the silhouette from feeling heavy.
Breaking down the look
Every element had a job. The styling stayed busy in texture but quiet in colour, and the accessories followed the same rule.
- Base: Lace-and-mesh black bustier with silver embroidery on the skirt
- Layer: Cropped tweed jacket in silver and black
- Texture: Feather trims and sheer tulle
- Accessories: Clutch, delicate earrings and a crystal-studded hand harness across her hand and waist
- Beauty: Brunette waves with a centre parting, defined contours and neutral lips
The crystal harness was the one piece that could have tipped the outfit into costume. Instead, it stayed small enough to add sparkle without overpowering the embroidery. The bag and earrings were deliberately low-key for the same reason.
Why it matters
This was not just another celebrity appearance. Triptii Dimri is now the face of Victoria’s Secret in India, a market the American brand clearly wants to speak to more directly. A Bollywood name on a global pink carpet is a signal: Indian celebrity style is part of the same conversation as international supermodels and musicians.
The LA show underlined that point. The 2026 edition had an all-women music lineup featuring KATSEYE, Megan Moroney, Megan Thee Stallion and Tate McRae, which put the focus on women’s voices across fashion and entertainment.
Steal the styling
If you are recreating a high-texture black look, the lesson is balance. Let one or two pieces do the talking and keep everything else simple. A busy outfit needs plain jewellery; a statement accessory needs a simpler base. Triptii’s warm-toned makeup also stopped the head-to-toe black from looking stark.
