Udta Teer’s 5-track album swings from Bhootni Ka to Chann

The Udta Teer album packs five distinct moods, from playful Bhootni Ka and Emiway Bantai's Bollywood debut on Choozay to Arijit Singh's Chann.

Udta Teer's 5-track album: Bhootni Ka to Chann

The complete Udta Teer music album has arrived, and it is built to match a film that refuses to stay in one lane. Across five tracks, the soundtrack shifts from playful chaos to rap swagger, soulful romance and a patriotic close — a deliberate mix that mirrors the story’s comic, emotional and action-packed turns.

Five tracks, five distinct moods

Composed by Sachin-Jigar and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the album moves easily between contemporary hip-hop, romance, humour and patriotic fervour. Here is what the soundtrack includes:

  • Bhootni Ka — Kaka and Twinkle Aggrwal set the quirky, playful tone.
  • Choozay — Ayushmann Khurrana joins Emiway Bantai and Jigar Saraiya on a rap-led track that marks Emiway’s Bollywood debut.
  • Chann — Arijit Singh brings the romantic, soulful side of the album.
  • Udta Teer — Raghav Chaitanya and Simran Choudhary deliver the title track.
  • Jai Hind — Siddharth Mahadevan and Shivam Mahadevan close on a patriotic note.

Having five distinct sounds is the point. The writer-director, Akash A Kaushik, has created a world that jumps between genres, and each song gives listeners a different entry into that unpredictability.

Why fans should press play before release

The soundtrack works as an early tour of the film’s tone. Ayushmann Khurrana put it simply: “I think the range is what makes the album special.” He added that he is looking forward to audiences finding their own favourite.

Sara Ali Khan pointed to the same variety, noting that no two songs feel the same and that the album captures the many shades of the film’s world. For Sachin-Jigar, the challenge was giving every track its own identity while keeping it part of one film.

For listeners, the best place to start is probably Choozay — it carries the surprise of Emiway Bantai’s Bollywood debut, along with Ayushmann Khurrana’s star power. Then Chann slows the pace, and the title track and Jai Hind round out the range.

What comes next

Presented by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, Udta Teer is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan alongside Raghubir Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Gulshan Grover, Suhail Nayyar, Rahul Bose, Mukul Dev, Ram Kapoor and Supriya Pilgaonkar. It arrives in cinemas on October 23, 2026, so the album gives fans a full musical preview a week ahead of release.
