Shanaya Kapoor is OBLIQUE’s champagne-silver showstopper
Shanaya Kapoor walked for OBLIQUE in a champagne-silver cut-out look, pairing Art Deco detail with a growing screen slate.

Shanaya Kapoor’s fashion calendar just got busier. She took on showstopper duties for OBLIQUE, walking for a collection built around the idea of alter egos and hidden personas.
The label explored that theme through reflective fabrics, fluid silhouettes and sharply structured cuts. Kapoor’s look sat at the centre of those contrasts: softness in the styling, structure in the tailoring, and a metallic palette that pulled the two together.
A champagne-silver look with Art Deco bones
Kapoor wore a cropped bustier with a deep sweetheart neckline, wide straps and a cut-out at the midriff. The fitted column skirt kept the line long, while a chevron-patterned waistband introduced the Art Deco mood. From there, geometric embroidery and vertical beadwork carried the detail downward.
The accessories were chosen to keep attention on the ensemble. Diamond cluster earrings supplied a little sparkle, and dewy makeup plus a shoulder-length brunette bob in loose, windswept waves softened the overall effect. There was no overcomplicated jewellery; the outfit was allowed to do the talking.
Where the runway fits into her career
Kapoor has been building her screen profile across several industries. She headlined Bejoy Nambiar’s romantic thriller Tu Yaa Main, which reached theatres in February 2026. She also starred opposite Vikrant Massey in Santosh Singh’s Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, and was attached to Vrushabha, the multilingual fantasy action drama led by Mohanlal and directed by Nanda Kishore.
On the horizon are Student of the Year 3, which is expected to take the franchise into streaming under Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, and Zombie Reddy 2 (NXT LVL), a Telugu horror-comedy sequel directed by Suparn Varma.
For a star still assembling her film track record, fashion appearances like this are not just decorative. They keep her visible between releases, connect her to design houses, and build a glamorous public image that can travel across Hindi, Telugu and pan-India audiences. Art Deco detailing remains a reliable red-carpet choice because its clean geometry reads well under lights and feels current rather than costume-heavy.
The styling lesson for the rest of us
- Pick one metallic family: champagne and silver anchored the look without competing accents.
- Let the silhouette make the statement: the bustier, cut-out and column skirt carried the drama.
- Soften a structured outfit: loose waves and dewy makeup kept the look warm and approachable.
Whether you are dressing for a sangeet, a reception or a big night out, the takeaway is restraint. A heavily embellished outfit reads more expensive when the styling stays calm and the jewellery stays simple.
