Hanuman Ansh hits Rs 317.75 crore, eyes Rs 330-340 crore finish

Ten weeks after release, Hanuman Ansh is still adding real money at the Indian box office. The devotional drama, directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, collected Rs 2.50 crore on Sunday, a 10% jump over Saturday, and closed its tenth weekend at Rs 6.25 crore nett.

That late push takes the film’s domestic cume to Rs 317.75 crore. Trade estimates now point to a lifetime finish of Rs 330-340 crore.

The tenth-weekend numbers

  • Sunday: Rs 2.50 crore, up 10% from the previous day
  • Weekend 10: Rs 6.25 crore nett
  • Total domestic cume: Rs 317.75 crore
  • Projected finish: Rs 330-340 crore

Pinkvilla’s trade report expects the film to close Week 10 near Rs 320 crore before ending its full run at roughly Rs 330-340 crore.

Why this late run matters

Most films are winding down by their tenth weekend, but Hanuman Ansh has turned its final phase into another box-office event. A 10% Sunday spike this late in a run is a signal of word-of-mouth still bringing audiences back into cinemas.

The film has already been described as a historic blockbuster, so the remaining weeks are about extending the record rather than proving its commercial success.

The Rs 350 crore question

The main suspense now is whether Hanuman Ansh can stretch to Rs 350 crore. Upcoming releases Prahaar and Udta Teer may reduce its screen count and dent business, according to the Pinkvilla report.

Even if that mark stays out of reach, the film has little at stake: its blockbuster status is secure, and the current path points to a comfortable finish in the Rs 330-340 crore zone.

As with all trade tracking, these collections are estimates based on industry parameters rather than final certified accounts.
