HYBE brings two-day Weverse Con Festival to India in 2027

HYBE will take Weverse Con Festival outside Korea for the first time, with a two-day New Delhi edition on March 27 and 28, 2027.

HYBE's two-day Weverse Con Festival is India-bound for 2027

HYBE, the company behind BTS, is bringing its Weverse Con Festival to India for the first time. The two-day event will run on March 27 and 28, 2027, in New Delhi, and it is the first edition of the festival to be held outside Korea.

What Weverse Con actually is

The festival grew out of the fan communities on Weverse, HYBE’s global superfan platform. The app is home to artists including BTS, SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, BOYNEXTDOOR, TWS and ILLIT, so Indian fans already know the ecosystem well.

The India edition is being framed as a crossover rather than a straightforward import. Along with live performances, organisers are promising fan activities, brand activations and special collaboration stages that bring artists from India and Korea together.

The business logic

HYBE CEO Jason Jaesang Lee described the festival as part of the company’s “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy. He said HYBE wants to pair its global capabilities with India’s creativity.

Weverse Company President Zooil Yang added that the event takes fan experiences “beyond the screen” and merges online and offline fandom. BookMyShow Live is co-producing and promoting the festival, with tickets sold exclusively through BookMyShow.

What fans can do right now

  • Save the dates: March 27 and 28, 2027, in New Delhi.
  • Watch BookMyShow: it is the only official ticketing channel.
  • Follow HYBE India: line-up and collaboration-stage reveals are still to come.

No artist line-up has been confirmed yet, so the safest early plan is to focus on dates, travel and official ticket news rather than unverified rosters circulating on social media.

The bigger India play

HYBE’s India plans go beyond one festival. HYBE INDIA has been running nationwide auditions to discover and develop local talent, produce content and expand intellectual property. The stated goal is content that resonates locally but can scale globally.

For Indian fans, the announcement is more than a date on the calendar. It signals that one of K-pop’s biggest companies is treating India as a core live market and wants local artists in that story, not just touring imports.
