Ranbir Kapoor Is the New Face of Mantra Group
Ranbir Kapoor is the new brand ambassador for Pune-based real estate developer Mantra Group, fronting its next expansion phase and a multi-project campaign.

Ranbir Kapoor has taken on a new role—not on a film set, but as the face of a real estate brand. Mantra Group, the Pune-based developer, has signed the actor as its brand ambassador as it steps into a bigger residential, commercial and retail expansion.
The partnership will place Ranbir in a new brand film alongside Rohit Gupta, Managing Director of Mantra Group. It arrives as the company works to strengthen existing markets and explore new opportunities in India and abroad.
Why Mantra picked Ranbir
The choice leans on a shared timeline. Mantra was founded in Pune in 2007; Ranbir’s film journey began the same year. In the nearly two decades since, the group has grown from a first-generation enterprise into a multi-segment developer, while the actor has built a career across varied roles.
Rohit Gupta, Managing Director, Mantra Group, said the company wanted a personality who could represent its evolution. “There are several parallels in the journeys we have taken, from starting out in the same year to building our own identities and constantly evolving,” he said.
Ranbir saw the same connection: “I also found the journey interesting because there are some parallels in how we have both built our identities over the years.”
What the tie-up includes
- A new brand film featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Rohit Gupta
- A campaign titled ‘The Festival of Choices’
- Mantra and Burgundy projects brought under one consumer platform
- Inventory openings and benefits across residential, commercial and retail segments
The campaign will be one of Mantra’s larger brand pushes. Its recent moves give the creative more material: entry into Mumbai for large-format developments, international branded residences with Jacob & Co., and a Burgundy luxury vertical that has worked with designer Manish Malhotra. Ganti Associates is among the names tied to its projects.
Star power, property trust
Property is a high-stakes purchase, and a well-known face can help a developer feel more established and aspirational. For Mantra, Ranbir gives the next growth phase a recognisable personality as the group explores premium and luxury housing, hospitality and branded residences.
“What appealed to me about Mantra is that it has built its journey over time, but has also continued to evolve,” Ranbir said. “I am happy to be part of this next chapter and look forward to what we build together.”
For the actor, this adds another brand partnership to an already strong endorsement portfolio. For the company, his appointment is timed with a push into new markets and micro-markets, with the brand film and campaign acting as the public-facing start of that chapter.
What to watch next
Fans and property watchers will likely see Ranbir in Mantra’s brand spots as ‘The Festival of Choices’ rolls out. The campaign is designed to bring the group’s portfolio into one place, so the next few weeks should reveal how the brand positions its Pune roots alongside its Mumbai and international ambitions.
