Akshay Kumar-starrer Bell Bottom will now stream on Amazon Prime Video on September 16. The actor took to social media on Saturday to share the news. Earlier, the movie was released in cinemas on August 19. Helmed by Ranjit M Tewari, the film also features Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles.
After a successful theatrical release, Bell Bottom will release on Amazon Prime Video. Akki took to social media to share the news with his fans and followers. He took and Twitter and wrote, “Date aap yaad rakhna, mission hum yaad dila denge. #BellBottomOnPrime, releases September 16.”
Apart from releasing in cinemas across the world, the spy thriller film was also screened at the world’s highest theatre in Ladakh. Akshay shared his feelings about the special screening shared on Twitter, “Makes my heart swell with pride that BellBottom was screened at World’s highest mobile theatre at Leh in Ladakh. At an altitude of 11562 ft, the theatre can operate at -28 degrees C. What an amazing feat!”
About Bell Bottom
Bell Bottom is based on the plane hijacks in the 80s that took India by storm. Akshay essays a RAW agent, while Vaani Kapoor plays his wife in the film. While Lara Dutta plays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who was in power at that time.
