Mumbai: Days before Silpa Shethy’s come back on big screens, the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police arrested the actress’ husband Raj Kundra in connection with creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps.
Though it looks like a real bad timing for Shilpa Shetty’s comeback, the actress put up a brave face and made a preventive pitch for her film, ‘Hungama 2’.
Taking to Instagram the actress urged netizens to watch the film, which was released digitally on Friday (July 23). She said, “I believe and practice the teachings of Yoga, “The only place where life exists is the present moment, NOW.” Hungama 2 involves the relentless efforts of an entire team that’s worked very hard to make a good film, and the film shouldn’t suffer… ever! So today, I request you all to watch Hungama 2 with your families to put a smile on your face and for the sake of every single person attached to the film. Thank you. With gratitude, Shilpa Shetty Kundra.”
Meanwhile, multi-starrer Hungama 2 has been released on digital platforms. However, the movie is being slammed by critics. They rejected the movie with 1.5 or 2 stars.
The highly anticipated film has been released on the most prominent OTT giant named Disney+ Hotstar app. Already, a ton of people watched the comedy movie and it collected lots of positive reviews from the audience and the critics as well. It has been filmed by Priyadarshan who’s returning to Bollywood after eight years with a mesmerizing sequel with Hungama.
